Kunming Sinobright plans to acquire Beijing's property agency firm for 6.56 bln yuan
Kunming Sinobright Group Co Ltd (昆百大A) says it plans to acquire 94 percent stake in property agency firm, Beijing 5i5j (我爱我家- wo ai wo jia) Real Estate Brokerage Co Ltd, for about 6.18 billion yuan ($898 million).


Sinobright plans to sign share transfer agreement to acquire the remaining 6 percent stake in Beijing 5i5j for 378.0 million yuan. Sinobright plans to raise up to 2.5 billion yuan in share private placement to fund acquisition, projects.

Content Delivery Specialist Goes Global with $186 Million Purchase
Shenzhen-listed Internet services provider Wangsu Science & Technology Co. Ltd. said it has agreed to buy South Korean peer CDNetworks for 21.1 billion yen ($185 million) in a bid to quickly expand its content delivery services outside its home market.

Wangsu is buying about 85% percent of CDNetworks’ shares from KDDI Corp., one of Japan’s leading wireless carriers. KDDI bought its CDNetworks stake in 2011 for $167 million with a similar aim of extending its own global reach by tapping the South Korean company’s network.

IDG in advanced talks to sell itself to Chinese buyout group
International Data Group, a pioneer in technology publishing and owner of such venerable names as PCWorld and the market research firm IDC, is in talks to sell itself for more than $1 billion to a Chinese investor group headed by IDG of Greater China chairman Hugo Shong.

 

The identity of the other investors in the group and the exact size of the deal could not be learned. But the sale of the company could face regulatory troubles.
